Since January 2023, I have been working as a freelancer after spending 10 years at a production company as a Director of Photography. I specialize in photography, filming, and lighting, with a particular passion for lighting. Light is essential in both video and photography as it helps to create depth, atmosphere, and emotion, making it a crucial element. I love arriving on set, especially when initial enthusiasm may be lacking. After a thorough discussion with the director and DP, I typically start by lighting the location. Within a short time, the crew gains more confidence in the setup. Once everything is in place, there's a sense of relief all around. No sunlight? No problem!
